Join my February plans!

January was very cold yet very busy, with shows, classes, and programming. In addition to running my Heist genre improv class with Wayward Improvised Theatre, I took a day trip to Montréal to share my All Request Radio format with Musical Improv Montreal!

I’m checking out the Youth Infringement Festival Preview Night (Feb 1) of six new shows at the festival; I’m mentoring one of them — come guess which one!

I’m emceeing the Arts Ottawa Awards (Feb 5), celebrating the work of wonderful artists, creators, and community spaces

Then, I’m bringing my variety comedy skills back to the fore. Maggie May’s Cabaret (Feb 6) and Capital Kingdom’s Black Showcase (Feb 7

My Wayward Improvised Theatre classes will showcase at the Bronson Centre (Feb 8), performing what they learned recently, in front of you — a live audience

Damn Fine Improv! Power Team Takeover (Feb 9) will feature Pushpin Pushout, a new improv experimenting with the power of vocal acting techniques within the Pushpin improv form

The Penultimatum Practice returns (Feb 15) to The Grove, courtesy of Homo Phono. An opportunity for Ottawa improvisers to practice reality-tv level dramatic acting

Later in the month, I return to Kitty’s Korner Show (Feb 19 and 26) for their two different themed shows

Finally, I’m directing the late night Maestro(TM) at Wayward Improvised Theatre (Feb 21)

Not performance related: facilitating the Story Sharing program at Bruce House, celebrating my birthday, and my work through Teamland and Black Pledge Canada
