Why?

This is a fundraiser to cover the accessibility portion of the production expenses before we launch in June

Fringe shows are already operating at razor thin margins. Adding accessibility solution costs makes it almost untenable.

What?

Universal Design in Theatre
Designing with the intent to make something as accessible to all as possible, while avoiding stigmatizing or segregating individuals

Accessibility Measures

• Mask-Mandatory (N-95 or better) for all audiences
• ASL-English Interpretation on stage every show
• Captions in English and French
• Audio Description
• Mobility Device accessible space

Stretch Goals – $3,000

Beyond covering the accessibility solutions, this stretch goal will cover festival submission and venue fees, and then merchandise production fees (buttons, stickers, activity book)

Beyond

Anything beyond will go toward the profit share between production members

Reporting

Velvet will share milestone updates as reached, e.g., 25%, 50%, 75%…

The ticket site, like all of them, will charge a per transaction cost. Appreciate any offsetting amount you can muster
