Program Description
After a lifetime of being taken for granted, dJerald the Djinn discovers the joy of being magical for their community and themselves. With help from their puppet friends, and maybe even you, dJerald unretires to fulfill an impossible wish – a magical caper to steal World Peace!
(Re)Tired Magical Black Man is a new (2022) 60-minute devised comedy from Velvet Duke Productions. The scripted show falls within the caper subgenre, featuring the interplay between people and puppets, four original songs, and brief moments of consent-minded, lightly improvised direct audience engagement.
